HJS demands criminal case; women also unhappy

Mumbai: Under the guise of comedy, Mahesh Manjrekar has stooped to very low level in ridiculing objects of worship of Hindus in a Marathi film produced by him titled ‘Shahanpan Dega Deva’. The despicable mockery of Draupadi in the film has generated anger among Hindus. Mrs. Shalini Thackeray, the Vice-President of MNS and Mrs. Sheetal Kadrekar, a columnist from ‘Dainik Vartahar’ have also condemned the mockery. Hindus have demanded that the mockery should be omitted from the film and the Censor Board which has no respect for religious sentiments of Hindus should be dissolved.

‘Shahanpan Dega Deva’ produced under the banner of ‘Great Maratha Enetrtainment Company Pvt. Ltd.’ and directed by Sudesh Manjrekar was released on Friday. It is a story about 5 madmen. One of them, enacted by actor Vaibhav Mangale, has the habit of dressing up in attires of different Deities. As his servant, Siddharth Kamble makes strange gestures. The attempt to create comedy out of this, is based on the incident of ‘Draupadi Vastraharan’ from Holy Scripture of Hindus ‘Mahabharata’ and there is also denigration of Sri Ganesha, Srikrushna, Durgamata and Shiva. (It is due to lack of unity among Hindus that people dared to make mockery of things worshipped by Hindus ! – Editor SP)
Women take inititaive !


Shalini Thackeray of MNS said, “The Censor Board will be asked to explain the matter about mockery made of Draupadi. When the President of Censor Board is Sharmila Tagore, a woman, how can such thing happen? This shows that the Board is not functioning properly.” Mrs. Sheetal Kadrekar has written in strong words about the denigration in her column ‘Sakhi’ and the producer and director of the film. She has also made a demand to dissolve the inactive Censor Board. (Congratulations to Mrs. Shalini Thackeray and Mrs. Sheetal Kadrekar for taking up the matter of mockery of Draupadi ! Mahesh Manjrekar renders casual apology


In the news published by ‘Dainik Vartahar’, Mahesh Manjrekar has said, “This is a ‘mad’ comedy. We did not expect the meaning as construed by you from these sentences. This is a very light humour. It was not our intention to hurt religious sentiments of anybody. In case somebody feels that way, I express apology.” (By saying ‘ifs and buts..’, Manjrekar shows he is an experienced professional. Such Hindus are real foes of Hindu Dharma. Will Manjrekar, who has made mockery of places of worship of Hindus, shows such daring to ridicule worshipped objects of followers of other religions? – Editor SP)

Despicable mockery from the film

1. Actor Vaibhav is dressed like Lord Krushna. He says, “This incarnation is for clarifying obstacles in the game of cricket.” Sanjay Narvekar, who is a cricket-fan shouts, ‘Come on India …’ and starts removing his shirt when Vaibhav asks him, ‘Are you Draupadi?’
2. Bald Vaibhav dresses like Lord Ganapati with stethoscope as his trunk and broken chalk piece as tooth. He uses leaves as ears. Everyone teases him as ‘Elephant Maharaj’.
3. Vaibhav stands with a stick in his hand when he poses like Durgamata; Siddhartha Jadhav becomes a lion and passes comic remarks.
4. Hideous gestures and banter takes place between Shankar, Parvati and Nandi
5. A fake ‘sadhu’ is disrobed and Vaibhav and Siddhartha take out even their clothes while comparing them with Lord Datta.

IBN Lokmat's Nikhil Wagle should apologise to Hindus for asserting that idol desecration never occurred in Goa
Mumbai (Maharashtra) : Mr. Abhay Vartak was giving information about cases of idol-breaking taking place in Goa during the discussions on a Marathi news channel IBN Lokmat; but the editor of IBN Lokmat, Mr. Nikhil Wagle tried to suppress Mr. Vartak and made false accusations against Sanatan Sanstha. Mr. Wagle claimed that the temples were not damaged by anti-Hindus and the photographs presented by Sanatan were prepared on computer using photo-trick. Thus, Mr. Wagle tried to mislead the viewers and prejudice their views about Sanatan. Mr. Vartak could not tolerate this and he boldly left the program half way registering his protest.
A discussion program was held on the said channel in a program titled ‘Aaj cha Sawaal’ putting up a question before the viewers- ‘Whether the sentence of life imprisonment given to Dara Singh in case of killing of Graham Steins was adequate’. Along with Mr. Abhay Vartak, Mr. Atul Bhatkhalkar, the general secretary of BJP for Mumbai, Congress spokesperson Husain Dalwai and journalist Pradip Deshpande participated in the program. Mr. Vartak and Mr. Bhatkhalkar told about Christian missionaries deceiving Hindus and converting them in different parts of the country. Deshpande said that he had not watched any news item on the said topic. (Christians have converted the whole North-East India by deceiving Hindus. Still the statement made by Deshpande shows his lack of study and ignorance. How can such type of reporters be capable to carry out their duties as the fourth pillar of democracy? - Editor SP) On this Abhay Vartak said, “News regarding many anti-Hindu incidents is not published; e.g. An idol of Saibaba was damaged in Goa and ‘IBN Lokmat’ was given proofs and information about the incident but the news was not published.” After this statement Wagle started accusing Sanatan Sanstha.
‘I am right, others are wrong’ – Wagle’s policy
Wagle said, “The photographs given by you are prepared on computer using photo-trick technique. No such incident has taken place. Our representative Ameya Tirodkar was sent to Goa. The police also informed us that the matter was about theft and damage of idol did not take place. This is an issue of giving false information to ignite communalism. I am the editor and took a decision not to publish the said news. Abhay Vartak, you are using the public channel for wrong purpose. (Our wise citizens will know whether Mr. Vartak is misusing TV medium presenting only the truth or Mr. Wagle making false allegations against Sanatan Sanstha and not allowing Mr. Vartak to present his points, is misusing the medium of TV and his post. – Editor SP) The viewers should note that I do not want to insult Abhay Vartak; but Sanatan Sanstha’s workers were caught in a bomb blast case in Goa. (What is the connection between bomb blast and damaging of idols? To say that ‘I don’t want to insult and make false insulting statements’, shows Wagle’s double standards. – Editor SP) I can tell PCR to switch off Vartak’s voice. (Suppression by Wagle who is now and again blowing trumpets of democracy. – Editor SP) You are telling lies and I can tell this 10 times. IBN Lokmat tries to find the truth. (Information given by the police is made as a shield by avoiding actual truth. How will ‘IBN Lokmat’ ever do justice to religious sentiments of Hindus? – Editor SP) Your accusations can trigger communal rift. My platform should not be used for the purpose.” All the proofs given by Mr. Vartak were kept aside by Wagle. Mentality of IBN Lokmat to avoid publishing news about attacks on temples

Nikhil Wagle is in the habit of inviting pro-Hindu guests on his channel for discussions and then insulting them. Earlier, Wagle had organized a discussion program on the issue of burning of copies of ‘Quran’ in USA. In that program also, Mr. Vartak had said that the channel was not publishing news about thefts occurring in temples and instances of attacks on temples. On this Wagle had stated that he had not come across such news in the past 30 years of his life spent in journalism. Wagle had said that if proofs were provided, he would publish the news. In the meantime, Sanatan Sanstha provided many proofs in the matter; but Wagle did not even send any reply to Sanatan.
Bravery of Abhay Vartak
Mr. Vartak was continuously telling Wagle that all the information provided was true. ‘The information was received by Sanatan under RTI. It was the information given by the police in Legislative Assembly. Sanatan has not given any wrong information. There is no need for Sanatan Sanstha to use any platform. Wagle can say anything because he is the host of the program; but our information is true.’ (Will pro-Hindus learn from the example of Mr. Abhay Vartak who fought for truth?– Editor SP) Wagle got more irritated and said, “Vartak, you are crossing the limit of courtesy. You are misusing the power of democracy.” On this Mr. Vartak bravely got up and said, “Millions of people are watching. They understand whose voice is big. I am registering protest against your program and leaving now. Sanatan Sanstha does not have to tell lies.” (Congratulations to Mr. Vartak for leaving the program to maintain the respect of sentiments of Hindus and for foiling attempts to suppress the voice of Hinduism! – Editor SP) While Mr. Vartak was getting up, Wagle also got up and said, “I will not allow anybody to take advantage of my platform till I am here. You can go.”



This incident has led to black-listing of IBN Lokmat channel by Hindus. Many Hindus congratulated Mr. Vartak over phone and told him that they were going to boycott the channel and make a demand with their cable operators to stop telecast of that channel.
Wagle loses his mental
Nikhil Wagle tried his best to suppress the truth told by Sanatan Sanstha about idol-breaking cases in Goa when he lost his mental balance. He was so angry that he could not even take the name of Sanatan properly. He tried to save his skin by saying that Sanatan workers were involved in Mudgaon bomb blast case.
O Hindus, understand the purpose of giving this news about IBN Lokmat
Mr. Abhay Vartak took part in the program held by IBN Lokmat as a representative of Hindus. His insult is not the insult of Sanatan but insult of all Hindus. The purpose behind giving this news is to only show that how the so-called secular mass media is insulting religious sentiments of Hindus. All Hindus must raise voice against this.
